HIST started at July 2006 with basic courses of computers at Shikarpur Pakistan with the vicinity of universities at Jamshoro Pakistan HIST started advance courses of computers in January 2009.

The mission of Hidaya Foundation is to implement educational, environmental, social welfare, and health care programs in economically depressed areas of South Asia, West Africa and North America, with focus on projects which promote self-employment. Hidaya Trust receives majority of its funding from Hidaya Foundation. Muslims throughout the world particularly in North America donate their zakat, sadaqah and other charity to Hidaya Foundation which is distributed to benefit zakat deserving and under privileged.
